Food and service are great here. Very quiet atmosphere and could use some updates to the decor but the staff is kind and attentive and the prices are fair. We always go back.
This place was one of the best all-you-can eat sushi buffets and Japanese teppanyaki BBQ grills. However, it is no longer called Hisui's. It's under a new name: Hoshi. Yelp.com needs to let people know that this restaurant has been closed for over a year now and that the new name for this establishment is Hoshi.
Went there for first time and was impressed by outstanding quality of food, service, Hibachi chefs and ambience. Love this place, portions were huge and prices more than reasonable. Sushi was great, steak and shrimp and fried rice and veggies were exceptional, and I'll be back sooner than later!!
The all you can eat sushi boat is open up again , the food is good, over all good and lovely. Definitely will come back
The staff were very friendly. Quality of the sushi here is definitely subpar, although I didn't expect much. My mom and I got the "dinner for two," which was nice because of the variety it includes. I enjoyed the cooked foods, but wasn't a fan of the sushi. My favorite was the beef teriyaki because it was tender. The salmon teriyaki may have been a little overcooked but still enjoyable. I liked the potato croquettes and tempura. I didn't try the gyoza. Also, I was kind of sad after leaving because I realized they/we forgot our desserts that were supposed to be included in the meal. However, it is a pretty big portion for just two people and we had some leftovers to take home. Pricing is decent though. I would go here again but not for the sushi. I would try the Hibachi.
The man is back in town! We had no idea what to expect other than your typical hibachi. To our surprise we got the honor of this fabulous chef from NOLA. He will delight you with his skills and fun personality. Tell him you want more fire! Just don't forget to leave him a nice tip in his tip jar (fyi they split the tip on the receipt w all staff). Thanks for helping us celebrate my son's birthday and making it memorable.
